The UNT Study Abroad Office is seeking student volunteers to act as Study Abroad Ambassadors! As an Ambassador you will be a representative of the Study Abroad Office and promote study abroad across campus while assisting prospective students with their decision to study abroad by answering their initial questions.
        
Once you become an ambassador you will be able to actively build on your past study abroad experience and gain valuable leadership skills. You will also receive hands on training in the growing field of international education, as well as enhance your public speaking ability. Finally, and most importantly, you will have the opportunity to share your personal experiences abroad and inspire others to broaden their horizons by studying abroad at UNT!

Qualifications
  • Current student at UNT
  • In good standing with the university
  • Previously participated in an approved study abroad program with UNT (Affiliate, Exchange, or Faculty-Led) 
Requirements
  • Attend a mandatory training session at the beginning of the semester
  • Attend our monthly ambassador meeting
  • Conduct Study Abroad 101 sessions at least 1 a month
  • Work a Study Abroad event at least 1 a month
  • Commit to participate for at least 1 full semester
