Don't let the fear of the unknown keep you from doing anything. I was the only student from UNT to go where I did, I was alone and that could have been really daunting. But I went places alone, joined tours with people I didn't know, and truly made the most of an incredible year. Be brave and take a leap of faith in yourself.

I am very comfortable talking to people about my experiences and I enjoy helping others overcome their own set of challenges. I've researched traveling as a student extensively and know a great deal about it, I would be happy to share this. I can also speak to being a disabled person abroad and how I handled it.
