Financial Aid
Financial Aid typically applies to study abroad, but each student's situation is unique. Contact the UNT Student Financial Aid and Scholarships Office to for a personalized consultation. Ask to speak to a Special Programs representative for Study Abroad financial aid advising, or email SpecialPrograms@unt.edu.
Payment Plans
Students can set up payment plans with UNT Student Accounting for the Fall, Spring, and Summer semesters.
Attend a Funding Workshop
The Study Abroad Office hosts Financing Study Abroad workshops every Tuesday, alternating mornings and afternoons. This workshop is designed for students that have already applied to a program to learn more about financial aid and scholarships. Students will work with advisors to create a budgeting worksheet. Create a Funding Plan
The Student Money Management team is here to help! Students can schedule a special coaching session to plan out the financial aspect of studying abroad. Sessions can be scheduled in-person (Chestnut Hall 115) or online. Schedule an appointment at a time that works for you.
