Study with UNT professors and UNT students on a Faculty Led Program
Faculty Led Programs offer students the chance to take UNT courses with their peers
abroad. These programs are typically offered during the summer for 3 or 6 credit hours,
and many programs are open to all majors. Please note that students must be 18 years
of age or older prior to the start of the program.
- Faculty Led programs range in duration from 3-10 weeks
- Most programs are held during the summer and winter terms
- Structured programs are beneficial for first-time travelers
- Students take a UNT class, pay through their UNT Student Account, and earn UNT credit
- Programs typically offer credit for one or two 3-hour courses in the department that
hosts the program
- Many options are open to all majors
- Financial aid and scholarships available
- Must be 18 years old by the program start date
- Faculty Led Programs are open to students enrolled at other institutions
